The Sketcher in the KISSsoft System Module can help engineers quickly turn their ideas into functional kinematic and engineering models.

As users sketch with KISSsoft’s Sketcher, the 3D gearbox model is generated in real time, bridging the gap between concept and a fully defined geometrical model. (Courtesy: KISSsoft)

The Sketcher empowers users to define gearbox topologies with the same ease and flexibility as hand-drawn sketches. Using a mouse and keyboard on a grid-based interface, users can smoothly place shafts, add elements with a click, and define gear meshes via drag-and-drop functionality. As users sketch, the 3D gearbox model is generated in real time, bridging the gap between concept and a fully defined geometrical model.

This innovative tool seamlessly integrates visualization, design, and validation functions, streamlining the process and enhancing efficiency.
