SB Machine Tools announces the addition of two premier grinding machine manufacturers, Jagura and Joen Lih, to its North American distribution lineup. The move gives manufacturers access to a complete range of precision grinding solutions, from centerless and cylindrical grinders to fully automatic surface and CNC profile grinders, all supported by SB Machine Tools’ direct sales and application expertise.
Jagura grinders are built around superior roundness and high-volume production capability. The centerless line serves industries including auto parts, tungsten carbide, mold and die, and cutting tool manufacturing, while the CNC cylindrical line delivers profile grinding with servo-driven axes, ±0.001 mm positioning accuracy, and a dialog-based control that eliminates the need for G-code programming.
Joen Lih brings Mitsubishi PLC-controlled automatic surface grinding with programmable multi-section cycles, self-diagnosis, and finish accuracy down to .0001” infeed increments. The line also includes a Fanuc-controlled CNC profile grinder and a precision surface grinder featuring ball roller guides that reduce friction and operator fatigue on short production runs.
