The 2007 Annual Meeting of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers, to be held on May 6-10, 2007, in the Philadelphia Marriott (downtown), will offer:

• Ten education courses on basic to advanced lubrication topics
• Over 400 technical sessions, from practical applications to new research on lubrication subjects
• Exams for CLS, OMA, or CMFS certification

The Commercial Marketing Forum and sold-out Trade Show are the only opportunities for companies to present specifics on their brand-name lubrication products. There will also be a keynote talk on the tribology of heart-assist devices (blood pumps), the President’s Luncheon, a workshop on “Handling Difficult People and Situations,” student posters, and social events.

Best practices of lubrication can help solve problems with equipment failures and unnecessary energy usage. People without lubrication expertise can benefit greatly by attending this educational event. Early-bird savings of $50 on registration fees ends on April 13. Contact the society at (847) 825-5536 or info@stle.org.
