This modern, full-axis CNC gear grinder has increased the company’s capacity to grind practically any tooth profile, including crown, taper, tip relief, and just about any imaginable modification up to 16 inches in diameter. Raycar can now consistently achieve–and often exceed–AGMA class 12-quality gears.
Located in Rockford, Illinois, Raycar is a privately owned gear manufacturing facility with more than 10,000 square feet of manufacturing space. It specializes in processing most low volume gear requirements of 1 to 100 pieces and is a complete job shop with CNC lathes, a CNC machining center, I.D. grinders, and a CNC O.D. grinder. The company has gear grinding, shaping, shaving, hobbing, tooth rounding, and keyway capabilities.
