Mazak Corporation will host its inaugural Discover More with Mazak Phoenix Open House event from April 28-29, 2026, at the Mazak Phoenix Technical Center.
The event will feature live cutting demonstrations on a wide range of advanced machining technology, including Swiss-type production turning, multi-tasking, 5-axis and Kentucky-built vertical machining, and next-generation horizontal machining. Attendees will also meet with industry experts to discuss modern manufacturing’s latest innovations and insights.
“This new Technical Center will support all manufacturers in the greater Phoenix Valley area,” said Tony Harrod, regional manager of the Mazak Phoenix Technical Center. “Whether those customers are in the semiconductor, aerospace and defense, electric vehicle, or medical device industries, Mazak is well entrenched in every major industry in terms of experience and application know-how.” The recently opened technical center in Phoenix, Arizona, provides service and support for manufacturers throughout the western United States.
The technical center houses a call center, applications engineers, and sales and service support personnel. It also provides customer programming classes, machine demonstrations, test cuts, and machining system run-offs. In addition, the Phoenix center will host Discover More with Mazak technology and education events such as the one coming up in April.
