Kapp Technologies names sales, service personnel


KAPP Technologies added new team members in sales and service. Hagen Woetzel has joined is service manager and Rodger Boswell is a new sales manager who joined in April, covering primarily the Midwest region.

Hagen Woetzel

Woetzel transitions from Kapp Niles in Coburg where he spent over 25 years in the service organization. He began his career as an apprentice for Kapp Niles and after completing his apprenticeship with focus on electrical engineering, he started control cabinet construction. Woetzel then moved into a field service technician position, where his responsibility included in-house machine commissioning, installations at customer sites, and NC technician. In 2016, he moved to remote service support and provided electrical maintenance training. Woetzel’s significant depth of experience will be a tremendous benefit for customers and will strengthen the leadership in our service organization.

Rodger Boswell

Boswell joins Kapp-Niles with 29 years of experience with precision machining, having previously worked at the machine tool OEM Hydromat. He began with Hydromat in the service organization and then in a supervisory role over the Retool division. Boswell then began a career in sales, moving from a regional sales manager to vice president of sales/project management. Boswell’s extensive experience of selling high precision/high value machines provides a good foundation as he moves into the precision gear manufacturing sector. He understands the importance of the entire solution for customers from not only the sales process but ensuring strong service support post sale.
