Kapp Niles will be exhibiting at GrindingHub in Stuttgart from May 14 – 17. Their exhibits will cover tools, technology, and digitization.

Tool exhibits will include grinding and dressing tools, including diamond form rolls, diamond profile rolls, multi-ribbed diamond profile rolls, diamond dressing gears, CBN profile grinding wheels, CBN grinding worms, and CBN profile grinding wheels.

Technology exhibits will address surface finishes — fine and polish grinding. With the demands for higher flank load capacity of gears and efficiency increases of gear boxes, fine and polish grinding has become more and more established in recent years, especially for applications in the passenger car and commercial vehicle sector. By integrating these downstream processes, surface finishes of Rz < 1 micrometer or Ra < 0.2 micrometer can be achieved on conventional gear grinding machines.

Digital solutions from Kapp Niles are displayed in the software platform KN assist. The digital products aim to generate the greatest possible added value. Quality, availability, efficiency, resources, user-friendliness, and service play a major role. Kapp Niles focuses on the core areas of connectivity, production and support in order to master all current and future challenges. Solution information will include process monitoring, condition monitoring, and remote service.

GrindingHub is the new international center for grinding technology and superfinishing. The trade fair’s focus is on all aspects of value creation in this technology area. Center stage is taken by grinding machines, tool grinding machines, and abrasives. All of the relevant software tools, the process periphery, and the measuring and testing equipment needed for QM processes relating to grinding are presented, keeping the entire production environment of grinding technology in view.

The internationally oriented trade fair starts with a hybrid concept. Accompanying the event and also between events, GrindingHub offers digital formats for match making, web seminars, and conferences as well as the communication of current trends and innovations across all channels.
