Great Lakes Gear Technologies of Canton, Michigan, and Fhusa SA of Barcelona, Spain, have announced the formation of a new company, Gear Tooling Solutions LLC, to market, sell, and provide technical support for the extensive line of Fhusa gear cutting tools within the North American gear manufacturing market.
Gear Tooling Solutions LLC will be exclusively represented by Great Lakes Gear Technologies from its new Technical Center in Canton. This joint venture will facilitate the introduction of high quality, world class tooling to American gear manufacturers at very reasonable costs to their customers by taking advantage of the lower worldwide production costs and increased volumes. Fhusa and its select partner companies manufacture tooling in Spain, South America, Europe, and Asia, using the highest manufacturing standards, materials, and coatings. The Canton facility will also be the base for resharpening services for the Midwest market in the near future.
