The annual Gear Dynamics and Gear Noise short course will be on The Ohio State campus June 3-6, 2024.

Over the years, the short courses have been extremely successful since they provide the attendees with a solid background in the fundamentals, while yielding insights into the practical side (such as how to reduce noise and dynamic loads of gears, how to design experiments with focus on sources, how to interpret data, and so on).

The course content is based on the results of 30-plus years of gearing research, problem solving and consulting work by the OSU GearLab that is recognized as the most comprehensive gear research center in the United States.
