A world leader in the calibration of test, measurement and control instrumentation, Davis Calibration has announced the opening of its new state-of-the-art calibration lab in Timonium, Maryland. The laboratory—which replaces a previous Baltimore location—is fully operational and is one of 29 such Davis facilities nationwide. Compared to the previous site it has 12,000 square feet of additional space, including 1,500 square feet that is a controlled environment space. Designed by company engineers the new lab features leading-edge calibration testing equipment, a streamlined workflow layout, and substantially improved logistics. The convenient location improves access for employees, clients, freight deliveries, and pick-up. It is adjacent to the new headquarters that opened on February 23, 2009.
