Ceratizit has joined the Canadian Tooling & Machining Association (CTMA), strengthening the company’s commitment to supporting and advancing Canada’s tooling, machining, and precision manufacturing industries.

Founded in 1963, the CTMA represents the interests of the Canadian tooling and precision metalworking sectors through industry advocacy, workforce development, networking opportunities, and educational initiatives. The association supports manufacturers, suppliers, and technology providers across Canada while fostering collaboration throughout the industry.

By becoming a CTMA member, Ceratizit Canada joins a network of manufacturing leaders focused on strengthening the future of Canadian manufacturing through innovation, skilled workforce development, and industry collaboration. “Joining CTMA is a natural step for us as we deepen our commitment to the Canadian manufacturing community,” said Chris Dones, sales director of Northern U.S. and Canada.

“Canada is a critical market for our business, and we see CTMA as a valuable platform to collaborate more closely with industry leaders, share technical expertise, and stay aligned with the evolving needs of Canadian manufacturers. Our goal is not just to participate, but to actively contribute — helping drive innovation, improve productivity, and advance cutting tool performance across the industry. By working together through CTMA, we believe we can support long-term growth for our customers and play a meaningful role in strengthening the competitiveness of the Canadian machining sector.”
