In the role, Martin will ensure medical customers have access to the industry’s most advanced manufacturing technology from GF Machining Solutions. From high-speed milling and electrical discharge machining (EDM) to laser texturing and automation, the company’s extensive array of products and service solutions help manufacturers in the medical sector meet the industry’s challenging machining and regulatory demands while increasing productivity and profitability.
“Medical manufacturers hold themselves to a high standard because they know people depend on the accuracy and precision of arthroscopic surgery clamps, diagnostic tools, orthopedic implants, and dental devices,” Martin said. “GF works in tandem with manufacturers to meet the exacting requirements of these medical applications.”
Martin brings significant medical market experience to his new position. Prior to joining GF Machining Solutions, he was director of engineering for medical contract manufacturer ARCH Medical Solutions where he analyzed market trends, monitored customer needs, directed new product design, improved production techniques, and developed test procedures.
