Forest City Gear, an industry-leading manufacturer of fine and medium pitch custom gears, announced the hire of Karen Becker as value stream coordinator. In this role, some of Becker’s responsibilities will include handling purchase orders, verifying tooling requirements, and serving as a point of contact for cut teeth only services for aerospace and defense customers.
Prior to joining Forest City Gear, Becker worked for PMI Aerospace in Rockford, Illinois, for 21 years. Becker held multiple roles during her time there, starting as a receptionist and working up to office manager and then expeditor.
