A part of Inductoheat (Europe) and the Inductotherm Group Company, Newelco has received another order for a large billet heater from a major automotive parts manufacturer in Brazil. The 9 T/hr. billet heater heats square and round billets with sizes up to 124 mm and 110 mm, respectively. In addition, Newelco supplied an automatic coil billet emptying system to reduce downtime and the number of rejected billets at the end of a production run. At this same facility Newelco is also refurbishing a twin billet heating line totalling 6400 kW to increase overall throughput and efficiency.
