Missouri S&T offers Lean Green Belt course for certification

Missouri University of Science and Technology, in partnership with the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), is offering a three-day, online course to gain a management certification.

The Lean Green Belt certification is a globally recognized and trusted marker of high-quality management. Graduate students, undergraduate students, and seasoned business professionals in manufacturing, business, financial, and health care industries will benefit from this proven approach to improving business processes.

The course teaches attendees Lean process methods by integrating principles of business, statistics, and engineering to achieve tangible results. Participants will learn how to quantify critical quality issues in an organization, increase productivity, and improve quality.

Cudney leads the course with high-energy, engaging, and creative instruction. Classroom lessons are supported by interactive, hands-on team sessions in which participants improve a realistic process using the tools of Lean. The course provides useful and actionable information in the shortest possible time.

Attendees will earn 2.1 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the entire course and have the opportunity to sit for the Lean Green Belt exam as part of the registration fee. Passing the exam is required to receive IISE Lean Green Belt certification, which is valid for three years.
