More than 750 global exhibitors and 81,000 visitors helped make Machine Components 2003 a major success. Organized jointly by the China Bearing Industry Association, the China General Machine Components Industry Association, the China National Machine Components Corp., and Business & Industrial Trade Fairs Ltd, the event was held last December at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The exhibition marked a 35 percent increase in attendance over the last show, which was held in 2001. Machine Components 2003 incorporated two top-sector events, namely the International Bearing Industry Exhibition (Bearing 2003) and the International Machine Parts and Related Special Equipment Exhibition (Machine Parts 2003).
In attendance were international market leaders from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, among others. Exhibitors also included emerging enterprises from many provinces and cities found in China.
