The AGMA School for Gear Manufacturing Technologyãpresented by the Gear Consulting Group of Richland, Michigan will be hosted by SU America at their Hoffman Estates, Illinois, facility June 5-7 and will be hosted by Liebherr America at their Saline, Michigan, facility August 7-9.
The three day course is concentrated on the relationships between the basic geometry of parallel axis gears and the inspection and manufacturing processes with a view to logical troubleshooting. The course is of great value to all involved in gear manufacturing, from the machine operator to the troubleshooting engineer.
The cost is $750 per participant and inquiries should be addressed to the Gear Consulting Group (contact information follows). Additional regional classes are also planned for the West Coast and the Southeast in 2006.
