Haris Ligata

is a mechanical engineer at GE Global Research Center (Schenectady, New York), working on the design, analysis, and testing of the rotating components for the power generation, transportation, oil and gas, and aerospace industries. Prior to General Electric, he spent five years working for AAM in Detroit on the design and development of helical and straight bevel (differential) gears. He received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University (Gear Lab) in 2007.
