Ceratizit Group has announced its partnership with MachiningCloud to provide manufacturers with online access to more than 68,000 standard Ceratizit cutting tools across all major application areas.

This collaboration streamlines how cutting tools are selected and applied in both new and existing machining processes.

With Ceratizit’s cutting tool portfolio integrated onto the MachiningCloud platform, manufacturers, engineers, and programmers can easily search for and select tools based on material, operation, machine capability, and application requirements. Whether launching a machine workflow from the ground up or fine-tuning an established one, companies can receive Ceratizit tooling data where machining decisions are made.

“From the planning table to the production floor, digital access to accurate tooling data is critical  for efficiency,” said Troy Wilt, managing director of Ceratizit USA, cutting tools division. “By partnering with MachiningCloud, we made it easier for manufacturers to quickly implement tools into their operations.”

MachiningCloud is a neutral, cloud-based platform that connects machining software with tool data and manufacturing systems. Through this integration, Ceratizit tooling data can be used across CAM, simulation, tool management, and process planning.

Manufacturers who use the platform benefit from less manual data entry and fewer errors while accelerating tool selection, improving processes, and gaining greater visibility into tooling decisions. For example, engineers can quickly identify suitable tools for specific applications, while programmers and planners benefit from up-to-date product information.

Ceratizit brings deep tooling expertise and one of the industry’s most comprehensive portfolios to the MachiningCloud platform,” said Eric Gerringer, technical director at Ceratizit USA. “Having easy access to this breadth of cutting tool data enables faster and more efficient decision-making for manufacturers to optimize their processes.”

The addition of Ceratizit’s tooling portfolio to the MachiningCloud platform reinforces both companies’ commitment to digital manufacturing and data-driven production. As machining expectations continue to evolve, the partnership ensures manufacturers can seamlessly connect cutting tool technology with modern digital workflows.

Ceratizit tooling products are actively available on MachiningCloud.
