Bodine Electric Company announced the retirement of Jeffrey Bodine as president, effective April 10, 2026. Bodine has been with the family-owned company for over 48 years, serving as president since 2017.

“Leadership transitions are significant milestones, particularly in a company like Bodine Electric with a proud family heritage, and I believe this transition will be seamless,” Bodine said. “I move into this next chapter of my life with tremendous confidence in our team and in the future of Bodine Electric Company.” Bodine will continue to serve as the company’s chairman of the board.
During their annual meeting in April, the company’s Board of Directors elected Jeff Stahl as the new president. Stahl has led Bodine Electric Company’s finance department for more than 25 years as chief financial officer.
“Jeff brings strong operational insight, steady leadership, and a deep appreciation for Bodine’s culture and values,” said Bodine.
Bodine Electric Company celebrated their 120th anniversary in 2025 and continues to be a leader in the design and manufacture of small electric motors, gearmotors, and motor speed controls. Bodine Electric’s corporate office and advanced manufacturing operations are in Peosta, Iowa. The sales and innovation center are near Chicago in Northfield, Illinois. Bodine’s quality management system is certified to ISO 9001.
