The Women in Manufacturing® Association invites industry professionals to submit speaking proposals for its 14th annual SUMMIT, October 7-9, 2024, in Boston, Massachusetts.

The SUMMIT is the highlight of WiM’s full calendar of year-round programming dedicated to supporting, promoting, and inspiring women in the manufacturing sector. Accommodating both in-person (at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston) and virtual participation, the SUMMIT will bring together an estimated 1,500 manufacturing professionals from across the country to hear inspiring keynote addresses, participate in professional development educational tracks, visit leading manufacturing facilities, and connect with peers through networking events.

WiM encourages industry leaders and experts to submit presentation proposals on topics including professional and personal development; technical developments; sustainability; innovation and transformation; allyship; manufacturing business trends; strategic leadership; and diversity, equity and inclusion. Those interested in being considered to speak can find full details, including speaker benefits, the evaluation process, and application form, online. The deadline for submissions is February 16, 2024.

“WiM is thrilled to be bringing SUMMIT 2024 to Boston, a leading city for women in the manufacturing sector, where the number of women in manufacturing careers outpaces the national average,” said Allison Grealis, WiM president and founder. “WiM SUMMITs are not just about breaking down barriers but are also about building up a stronger industry for the future. We look forward to developing an outstanding lineup of speakers that will educate and motivate our SUMMIT attendees to grow their own careers and create opportunities for others.”

Innovative manufacturing companies in the Boston area that are interested in showcasing their capabilities to SUMMIT participants are encouraged to apply to host a plant tour.

Additionally, WiM offers many sponsorship opportunities for companies committed to the advancement of women in the manufacturing industry.
