Wenzel America and Nidec Machine Tool America will host “Gear Up For Precision” April 12-13. They will offer displays, technical discussions, presentations, and demonstrations.
Wenzel America and Nidec’s collaboration started with the mutual exhibition during the 2022 IMTS in Chicago, Illinois. The exhibit at the large machine tool show highlighted the measurement technology solutions based on closed-loop processes. Based on this highly successful collaboration, a joint open house was arranged to bring customers face-to-face with both Wenzel and Nidec’s machines and experts.
“Metrology & Motion is the perfect way to show how Wenzel’s metrology systems integrate into any production process.” said Drew Shemenski, president of Wenzel America. “We are excited to have Nidec as a partner to demonstrate how we apply this to the gear industry. Collaborations like this are a way we bring innovation to a wide variety of industries, such as aerospace, mobility, and contract manufacturing. We are honored that Wenzel’s CEO, Dr. Heike Wenzel, and chief digital officer, Prof. Dr. Heiko Wenzel are participating in this event, bringing the global perspective.”
“Our joint effort with Wenzel in the open house offers gear manufacturers the ability to visit both Wenzel and see Nidec’s advanced equipment first-hand and speak with our technical experts,” said Scott Knoy, VP Sales at Nidec Machine Tool America.
Gear Up For Precision will be April 12 and 13, 2023. Both Wenzel and Nidec Machine Tool America, located across from each other in Wixom, Michigan, will be open to visitors and offer displays, technical discussions, presentations, and demonstrations. Nidec will have the new GE15HS high-speed hobbing machine running with Load & Go automation from Automation Within Reach. Wenzel will demonstrate the flagship LH CMM with REVO, along with other solutions as well as CT scanning systems and the latest developments in gear metrology.
