In preparation for anticipated accelerated growth over the next few years, gear manufacturer Ronson Gears has announced a reshuffle of management to better service new and existing customers both in Australia and overseas. Stephen Bell moves to a key role in internal sales/estimating after eight years as production manager. He has played an integral role in increasing shipments by 70 percent during this time and must be congratulated for his contribution to this growth. Darren Snow has been promoted into Bell’s position as the newly titled operations manager. Snow hails from the quality department and has demonstrated great leadership and dedication to quality during his nine-year tenure. He is looking forward to ensuring our customers’ work continues to travel through the factory efficiently and on time, as well as looking after our employees’ needs. Elwin Drummond moves into Darren’s former position as quality manager. He worked with Snow in quality and brings with him vast experience in the field from his working life in the United States.

Jason Graham, Ronson’s leading hand in gear cutting, has been promoted to technical manager. He will direct and coordinate the technical services of the company, ensuring work is produced in the most effective and timely manner possible and assumes responsibility for our continual improvement and waste management programs. Gavin New, managing director, will continue in his marketing and sales role as he also begins to undertake some administrative responsibilities.

According to New, it’s the company’s people who are responsible for Ronson’s longstanding reputation for outstanding quality and customer service. “Our long-term relationship with customers in a range of industries including mining, aerospace, rail, agriculture, defense, and automotive is important to us,” he says, “and these positional changes will enhance those relationships.” For more information contact Gavin New +61 400 958 722 or Gordon New +61 408 388 968.
