The two-day event features presentations on Automation, CAD/CAM, coolant, 3-d metrology, presetting, probing, process improvement, rotary tables, and toolholding, as well as three-axis, five-axis, and Swiss machine demonstrations featuring real-world scenarios, equipment displays, and more. Located at Rego-Fix USA North American headquarters, the CME is a 12,000-square foot manufacturing educational and advancement facility that houses a range of cutting-edge technology and serves as a hub for industry innovation that is accessible to manufacturers and industry thought leaders worldwide. The CME includes machine tool, cutting tool, and technology partners who collaborate to better solve challenging machining problems.

“The Center for Machining Excellence continues to do a great job of educating the industry on new advances in machining, and how manufacturers can come together to jointly solve challenging machining problems,” said Heule president Gary Brown. “Indy Days is a great way to showcase high performance machining products in a low-stress way, and we’re pleased to participate.”

“We’re excited to have Heule and other CME partners from the machining, cutting tools, and technology sectors come together in this innovative forum,” said CME manager David McHenry. Customers can see three-and five-axis machining demonstrations and discuss further steps with the partners present – in an educational, low-stress atmosphere.
