Our quality management system (QMS) is registered & listed on OASIS for AS9100C & ISO 9001. Complimenting our manufacturing capabilities & quality management system, we hold Nadcap accreditations for both heat treatment & passivation of stainless steel alloys.
 
Our scope of accreditations include AMS2759/3 for heat treatment & hardness testing. For passivation, we perform to AMS2700, AMS-QQ-P-35, QQ-P-35, ASTM-A967. We use high humidity chamber for testing.  

We are in process of setting up a Liquid Salt Bath Nitriding (Ferritic Nitrocarburizing) line to conform with AMS 2753C.  We intend to submit application to PRI (Nadcap) for audit & eventual Nadcap accreditation to AMS 2753.
 
Manufacturing of precision gears requires rigid control of the entire manufacturing process. From receipt & x-ray inspection of all raw material received on site with our Niton Alloy Analyzer & up front Packaging Engineering, we at STD rigidly control each process to yield precision products second to none in the industry.
 
Each lot of material is 100% inspected with our Niton Alloy Analyzer at time of material receipt. This ensures only materials meeting PO specifications are accepted.
 
At STD Precision Gear, we do NOT rely on outside suppliers for blank preparation. We have a wide variety of equipment for manufacturing blanks in house to include CNC Turning, Swiss Screw Machining, CNC Milling, Wire EDM, Die Sink (Ram) EDM, Centerless Grinding, Cylindrical Grinding, Surface Grinding, Surface Lapping, Honing, Broaching, Laser Marking, CNC Impact Marking, Assembly & Spot Welding.
 
In support of our military customers & programs requiring ITAR/EAR compliance & enforcement, STD Precision Gear is registered with the US Dept. of State. Accordingly, we have in place an ITAR compliance program to ensure only US Persons & firms wholly owned by US Persons are able to view ITAR documents.
