PROUCT SHOWCASE: World Radio System for Machine Tools from Marposs
May 05, 2011
Marposs Corp. will introduce its World Radio System WRS in booth #3008 at EASTEC 2011 May 17-19 in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The new WRS system is comprised of a wireless touch probe, wireless tool setter, and wireless bore gauge, all of which communicate via a single radio frequency (RF) receiver. The system can be used on medium to large size machining centers and mills. The 2.4 GHz transmission frequency band permits the system to be used for applications in most parts of the world. The spherical transmission characteristics and 15 m operating range make the WRS both flexible and powerful. The system is ideally suited for part setup and inspection on large machines.
