In most cases, our products are fully compatible with petroleum-based fluids*, making the conversion easy.

*The only exception is PAG synthetics (polyalkyleneglycol) which are incompatible with conventional petroleum fluids, conventional synthetic fluids and bio-lube fluids. They are often incompatible with other PAG’s from other manufacturers.

 

Synthetic Gear Oil

BioGear S is a biodegradable industrial gear oil formulated from synthetic ester base stocks. The combination of these high quality base oils and robust additive package allows for maximum equipment protection for extended drain intervals, while simultaneously providing protection for the environment. The additional lubricity of the fluid allows for efficient operation in demanding conditions. Available in ISO grades 220, 320 and 460.

To be used in industrial gear applications across a wide range of industries. Use in equipment where a release into the environment is possible, where the authorities have mandated the usage of an EAL, or where a leak or spill could reach a waste stream.

Synthetic GL-5 Gear Oil

BioGear S 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube is a platinum, readily biodegradable grade gear oil uniquely formulated for best-in-class performance in extreme heavy-duty applications. With it’s superior viscosity index, it maintains a long lasting barrier protection against metal-to-metal contact.

Food Grade Gear Oil

TruGear FG extreme pressure gear oils are formulated from premium white oils. They contain extreme pressure, anti-wear, and anti-corrosion additives to protect gears, bearings and shafts in a variety of enclosed gear systems. TruGear FG gear oils are NSF registered as meeting the guidelines of an H1 product for incidental food contact.

To be used in industrial gear applications primarily in food processing and food packaging plants. TruGear FG gear oils are not designed to biodegrade in the environment should a release occur. For applications that require biodegradability due to regulation or a sensitive environment, please use BioGear EP or BioGear S gear oils.
