The new, revised Toolfinder from Sauter enables customers to find the right tool holder online in the shortest possible time. The operation is intuitive and, thanks to intelligent filters, the search can be narrowed quickly. Results can be compared, and extensive information and data sheets on individual products can be accessed. According to Sauter, finding tool holders has never been easier.
With the new Toolfinder, Sauter enables an intuitive search for static and driven tool holders. The search engine has been relaunched and now delivers results in real-time and is always up-to-date.
“Our Toolfinder is suitable for everyone, regardless of existing prior or specialist knowledge,” said Markus Feder, team leader tooling sales at Sauter. “Finding the right tool holder has never been so easy.”
This is mainly due to the integrated filter function. After specifying the manufacturer and model of the machine tool, further characteristics are defined automatically. The rest can be determined manually, which further narrows the search. In this way, the intelligent software makes a pre-selection – only suitable products are displayed. Alternatively, the desired tool holder can be found by direct search via a text field. The results are available within one second.
Users can select any number of search results and compare them directly in a table. If desired, they can download comprehensive information on the products as well as data sheets and 3D views. No registration or login is required for this purpose.
“The Toolfinder goes far beyond a mere article finder,” Feder said. “We bundle the essential advantages of comparative offers on the market in it.”
For example, sales partners can call up additional information on availability, delivery times, and prices after logging in. The entire ordering process can thus be handled via the Toolfinder. Sauter plans to expand the software into a webshop. Then, in the future, all customers will be able to order and pay for their tool holders online directly via the Toolfinder. In addition, an individual catalog function is in progress. In this way, the products of interest to the customer can be displayed in a condensed form on a few pages at one click.
