Goellner, Inc., announces the promotion of Greg Champion to vice president of sales and marketing. Goellner is the holding company for Advanced Machine & Engineering (AME) and Hennig, Inc., two leading suppliers to the machine tool, power generation, primary metals, and other industries.
Champion has many years of experience with Hennig, and more than 20 years of experience in a variety of management positions in the machine tool and machine tool accessory industries. In his new role he will oversee all sales and marketing activities, which includes the strategic direction and management of worldwide initiatives while also be developing new business opportunities, both domestically and globally. He will direct the sales and marketing departments of both AME and Hennig, and he will work in conjunction with the staff at both locations.
AME serves the machine tool industry with precision components and accessories, including spindle interface components, workholding devices, and, through Hennig, machine enclosures and chip removal and filtration systems. The fluid power and safety markets are served with cylinder rod locks and safety catcher devices, and the production saw market with its AmSaw carbide saw machines and Speedcut blade products. AME has manufacturing partners and customers around the world and across the U.S. Hennig designs and produces custom machine protection and chip/coolant management products for state of the art machine tools.
