Pat Mooney Inc.-The Saw Company has reached an agreement to represent the Danobat line of heavy duty band saw machines and structural drilling machines in North America. The Danobat Model CP520AF is designed specifically for sawing in demanding applications such as die forging, steel service centers, and heavy manufacturing operations. The fully automatic CP520AF is equipped with a hydraulic gripper vise to position the material to the proper cut length up to 25-5/8” rounds and squares. In addition, complete material handling will create a highly efficient sawing center.
The unique design of the CP520AF features twin prismatic guide columns that travel on linear rails and linear bearings. The support prismatic guide column travels on free rollers. The result is a torsion free travel throughout the sawing range. Each machine can be equipped with the IntelliCut ™ software to increase parts per shift, decrease cutting cost, and remove the operator from the decision making process regarding the use of the saw blade and the cutting rate. The IntelliCut software will reduce cutting times and increase blade life. The operator easily enters material grade from a stored list in memory, the workpiece dimensions, and the blade type and pitch. IntelliCut will take over the machine and set the proper blade speed and optimum feed rate to deliver accurate and repeatable performance cut after cut.
