With that, the company has expanded its Discover Technology Webinar Series with the introduction of several new free webinars this fall.
The new webinars are approximately 60 minutes long and connect Mazak customers with industry experts to provide information on the latest technology advancements. The series offers an easy-to-access online learning platform where attendees can gain knowledge about the latest manufacturing trends, as well as tools and techniques to help them stay competitive.
The first new webinar, “SMOOTH Tool Data Converter,” was scheduled for September 21. It was aimed at manufacturers who want to learn how intelligent process monitoring helps protect expensive tools as well as secure and optimize their performance. Participants glimpsed how Mazak’s SMOOTH Tool Data Converter can help reduce tooling time and eliminate manual input errors.
Also on the schedule is the “Closed Loop Gear Machining” webinar, set for Thursday, October 19 at 2 p.m. (EDT). Gear machining experts from Mazak and Dontyne Systems will discuss how to use 5-axis machine tool technology coupled with gear design and inspection software to create a closed-loop gear cutting process for manufacturing accurate gears. Participants will learn how to overcome specific gear-cutting challenges such as geometry definition and marking patterns, load analysis, and how to correct the surface based on inspection data.
The Discover Technology Webinar Series covers numerous areas of interest to manufacturers. All it takes to participate is a computer, an internet connection, and a web browser to be ready to gain powerful knowledge on how to stay competitive and profitable in today’s challenging global marketplace.
