Banyan Global Technologies and IBS will showcase a number of new products at IMTS Booth N-6670.
Some equipment on display includes a new indexable hobbing product line for mid-to-large module gears. Module: 5 to 40 (5DP to 0.63DP) class “B” is suitable for protuberance style pre-grinding applications, which provides a 30 to 50 percent improvement in cycle time in most applications, with no resharpening and three to four times tool life comparable to solid HSS hobs.
In addition, Banyan’s indexable profile milling (Non-generating) will be on display for irtually all ranges of module and pressure angle, spur and helical and both internal and external gears. The single, duplex and triplex gang cutter assemblies improve productivity by simultaneously milling multiple tooth gaps to full depth.
