Company Overview
Customer service is imperative and is the essence of our business. Our equipment has been engineered and designed to encompass a minimum of downtime for normal maintenance procedures. You will find that all our component parts are readily available from local distributors and/or the J. L. Becker Company within a reasonable delivery time. We feel this is an important consideration when purchasing equipment.
As for the design and engineering of our equipment, each customer’s process is somewhat similar, yet varied. Our furnaces are designed and manufactured to meet your specific requirements. Working with our customers is foremost in our philosophy, and therefore we have incorporated many unique concepts in our equipment. These include PLC logic, position display boards, variable speed agitation, energy efficient insulation, easy accessibility for maintenance purposes and extra heavy duty steel fabrication and construction.
In summation, it is our goal to work with customers in a courteous, responsive manner and to offer continuing and ongoing support. Your production requirements are first and foremost in our minds as we design and build the equipment.
Company Background
he J. L. Becker Company was established in early 1970 as a manufacturer's representative for five major component part suppliers for both captive and commercial heat treaters. Although we continue to represent these companies, we now employ over forty-five people, including sales staff, engineering, estimating, plant and administrative departments to assist in the manufacture of our heat treating equipment products.
Our furnaces, gas generators and auxiliary equipment are and have been manufactured under our company name since the mid-70's. All design, engineering and assembly are completed in our modern Plymouth, Michigan plant. In many cases, we have performed complete "turnkey" operations, including utility layouts, concrete pads and other required customer assistance.
