As part of a plan to visit 50 organizations in 50 days during the U.S. Congress summer break, Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., spoke to over 30 of the management teams for metallurgical heat treating plant Solar Atmospheres Inc., and vacuum furnace manufacturing plant Solar Manufacturing Inc. Following his 30–minute presentation on important events coming before Congress near term, Fitzpatrick toured both manufacturing plants. The congressman took questions from management teams and also listened to management and employee concerns covering another 45-minute plant tour, according to CEO William R. Jones.
