Interpower Induction USA Announces the Promotion of Fred Specht to VP Sales of North America

Gary Gariglio, president and founder of Interpower Induction, Almont, Michigan, pleased to announce the promotion of Fred Specht to vice president of sales of North America. Interpower Induction is a major manufacturer of induction heating systems, power supplies, water-cooling systems, induction coils and material handling equipment for the forging, melting and heat treating industries. Interpower Induction has averaged double-digit growth since the company was founded in 1995.

Specht brings 40 plus years of hands-on induction heat treating and forging experience, troubleshooting, manufacturing, engineering and sales experience to lead the continued growth of Interpower Induction in the melting, forging and heat treating industries.  Fred started his career as a commercial induction heat-treater at Induction Heat Treat Corp., Lindberg (Now Bodycote) and Chicago Induction Heat Treating, all in the Chicago area. He has managed sales with major clients in the agricultural, aerospace, military, construction, automotive, oil & gas, and off-highway industries with such induction suppliers as TOCCO, Inc., Pillar, and Ajax Magnethermic, Inc.

Specht was a founding member of the American Society of Metals (ASM) Heat Treat Society and was a Heat Treat Society board member for two terms. He will continue in his current role as ASM Heat Treat Society Technical Programming Sub- Committee Chair of the Applied Energy committee.  He is also a current member of the American Foundry Society (AFS) since 1989 and Society Mechanical Engineers (SME) since 1998.
