Forest City Gear, an industry-leading manufacturer of fine and medium pitch custom gears, has hired Andrew Vincent as engineering manager. Some of his responsibilities in this role include providing leadership, support, and training to engineering department personnel.

Vincent has been a member of the Forest City Gear family in the past. In 2020-21 he served as systems engineer, developing software and algorithms for gear shaping, hobbing, and grinding processes. He has also worked for Ipsen USA as a mechanical engineer and Schafer Industries as a project engineer.
“He brings a great depth of knowledge and expertise in the manufacturing of complex components for the aerospace, space, robotics and defense industries,” said Jeff Mains, director of technical operations. “We are excited to welcome Dr. Andrew Vincent back to our team.”
