Transor Filter USA has released a new corporate brochure. The eight-page brochure provides a brief overview of the company’s 40-plus year history, an explanation of the benefits of their One Micron Filtration capability (OMF), a quick summary of the various market segments served, and a general description of the filter options available.
According to Transor President Irv Kaage, “In recent years, there has been so much evolution in the Transor products, as well as the many different manufacturing segments we now serve, we thought it was a good time to re-acquaint our customers and prospects with all the changes that have enabled us to grow into a global supplier of superior filtration equipment.”
Readers can learn that at the heart of the Transor Filter System are the unique filter elements that provide One Micron Filtration “absolute.” Operating on the edge-filtering concept, filter elements are cleaned automatically, thus the system is virtually maintenance free. The modular design of the units makes it easy to match the right unit for any application or provide a larger unit that can be easily expanded as capacity grows.
Originally designed for the EDM process, OMF has proven to be the filtration of choice for manufacturers in other market segments. Plants where tool/cutter grinders, centerless grinding, honing and lapping, and other precision manufacturing processes occur have reaped the benefits of having oil coolant filtered to one micron. These include faster cycle times, reduced maintenance, and overall lower cost per part.
