Kapp Technologies has recently announced that Shane Hollingsworth has joined its sales team. Hollingsworth will represent Kapp Niles customers in the U.S., east of the Rocky Mountains, focusing on companies in the aerospace, energy, mining, construction, and agriculture industries.
“Shane’s gear manufacturing experience and industry perspective uniquely enables him to be a valuable resource and advocate for our customers,” said Bill Miller, vice president of sales at Kapp Technologies. “His skill, energy, aptitude, and attitude complement our Kapp Niles team nicely.”
Hollingsworth received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2007. After graduation, he assumed the role of gear tool engineer at Fairfield Manufacturing in Lafayette, Indiana, dedicating his efforts to perishable tool design, technical reviews, and new technology initiatives. He was also involved in gear grinding and cutting equipment acquisitions. In the last few years at Fairfield, Hollingsworth transitioned into sales, beginning first as a sales engineer and, more recently, as regional sales manager.
