Hypertherm unveils its new edge profiling technology designed to help fabricators and CNC table manufacturers achieve accurate bevel cuts more easily than before. Hypertherm’s bevel technology includes factory tested mild steel cut charts for all Hypertherm HyPerformance HPRXD plasma systems. These cut charts contain meticulously developed parameters that will significantly reduce the amount of time and effort required to produce quality bevels using plasma.
The new technology is similar to Hypertherm’s patent-pending True Hole™ process in that it makes it easy to consistently optimize bevel performance. The benefit to customers is a significant reduction in trial and error time, helping to deliver higher productivity, more throughput, and less waste. Hypertherm plans to embed the cut charts in Hypertherm’s CNC/CAM software and make it available to its partners for inclusion with their proprietary CNC/CAM solutions.
In addition to bevel process advancements, Hypertherm plans to announce several other enhancements to its HyPerformance HPRXD product line. The enhancements, which will be announced at FABTECH, are designed to give end users more options and flexibility for multiple cutting applications.
Hypertherm also plans to preview an all new 3.0 kilowatt fiber laser system and a 200 amp plasma system as well as demonstrate its new Powermax105.
