Philadelphia Gear, a full-service provider of gearing and power transmission solutions, has appointed Darren Keehn as sales representative for the Western Region of Canada, encompassing the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. In this role Keehn will be responsible for various business development initiatives in the region and adding value to the partnership between PGC and its customers in the Western region. Keehn brings nearly 20 years of sales and hands-on experience with rotating equipment, applications, with a particularly strong focus on turbomachinery. He began his career in the oil fields as a mechanic and repair technician. Most recently he served in technical sales and customer service roles for Elliot Turbomachinery and Lufkin Gear, respectively, where he managed training support personnel and spearheaded business development within his sales territory.
“We are thrilled to welcome Darren Keehn to the PGC sales team,” says Tony Tartaglio, Western region general manager of Philadelphia Gear. “He brings focused knowledge about equipment used in some of our key Western Canadian markets and a strong dedication to customer service.”
Keehn has completed multiple continuing education courses in software, mechanical, and commercial engineering. He will be serving his territory from his sales office in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
