LMT-Fette Introduces New Tangential Thread Rolling Heads

LMT-Fette Tangential Thread Rolling Heads come pre-synchronized for efficient setup with no roll timing. Because symmetrical roller repositioning is performed with a central setting screw, and away from the rolling system, operators can expect a staggering 75 percent reduction in setup time. The short 10 minute setup time applies to the initial setup and any time the thread rolls are changed out.

For improved versatility, LMT-Fette has decreased the length of their rolling heads by 20 percent. This engineering move makes their Tangential Thread Rolling Head suitable for use in CNC lathes, as well as screw machines. And, available in T120F, T160F, T220F, and T350F models, the Tangential Thread Rolling Head can accommodate thread diameters ranging from 5/64" – 2". All models allow for easy adjustment from coarse to fine and now extra fine pitch threads. Tangential Thread Rolling Heads are also capable of threading 1/16" ‚ 1" diameter NPT and NPTF pipe sizes. LMT-Fette Tangential Thread Rolling Heads feature carbide shafts for increased stability, precision, and tool life. LMT-Fette blends precision engineering with application expertise, resulting in advanced metalworking solutions that increase uptime, productivity, and product quality. LMT-Fette will continue to be at the forefront of metal cutting technology with its new milling, turning, tapping, thread rolling, and gear cutting products.
