“It’s certainly a great honor to be acknowledged as a top workplace at the local level, but being nationally recognized is truly amazing,” says Jennifer Ostroff, HR programs manager for Seco. “Seco puts a lot of time and effort into making sure its employees stay motivated, engaged and inspired, and these top workplace distinctions help validate the company’s role as an employer of choice.”

Seco’s commitment to its employees includes: ensuring leaders inspire and build trust through transparency and accessibility; ffering comprehensive training so employees achieve optimal performance and reach their personal career goals; building cross-functional teams to drive future company growth; aintaining a comprehensive benefits plan that exceeds traditional practices; and providing an environment where employees feel valued and rewarded.

An independent research firm reviewed several key measures when selecting the 89 “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” in the country. Such measures included communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, and recruitment and selection.

“Nationally recognized award recipients keep innovative human resources initiatives at the forefront of their company culture and make it a priority to consider their workforce as an essential aspect in their company success.
