LAI International, Inc., a strategic supplier of precision components and subassemblies for original equipment manufacturers, announced it has signed a multimillion-dollar agreement to continue long-term, large-scale production of turbine engine components.

Manufacturing and delivery of the precision-machined partitions are in process at LAI’s manufacturing facility in Scarborough, Maine, and will continue through this year. The agreement to produce the components was made with a leading original equipment manufacturer in the power generation industry, and the overall value exceeds $10 million over one year.

LAI uses advanced machining technologies to process in a year more than 30,000 of the land-based steam turbine components used in electric power generating plants across the global energy market. It is the premier manufacturer of precision engineered components and assemblies for aerospace, power generation, defense, and other advanced technology industries. Its technology, engineering, and manufacturing solutions are the lifeblood of airframes, aircraft engines, power generators, defense systems, and other mission-critical applications.
