Inductotherm Announces Personnel Changes

Inductotherm Group–headquartered in Rancocas, New Jersey–has appointed Douglas R. Brown as president of its forging division. Brown is based out of Inductoheat, Inc., the group’s Madison Heights, Michigan, office. His new responsibilities include the global sales, marketing, and manufacture of induction heating for forging products, including the group’s new InductoForge line of billet heaters.

Brown has 25 years of experience in the induction industry, 15 of which were in forging. Prior to his current position he served as director of forging-North America for the Inductotherm Group, and also as president of the Alpha 1 Induction Service Center, an Inductotherm Group Company that is based in Columbus, Ohio.

The Alpha 1 Induction Service Center has also promoted Frank C. Veno to company president. His new responsibilities include the daily operations of manufacturing and repairing of induction heating coils, equipment service, transitional heat treating services, and material handling equipment for the forging industry.

Veno has more than 25 years of manufacturing experience, 10 with Alpha 1 Induction Service Center. Prior to his current position he served as vice president of operations, plant manager, East Coast coil sales manager, service manager, and manufacturing manager.
