Danfoss Bauer’s three-phase BS Series worm geared motors come as a standard two-stage design for improved efficiency. These robust gearmotors offer a variety of installation options, including foot or flange with single or double output shaft, shaft mounting with hollow shaft in keyed, or shrink disk version with torque arm. This versatility makes this right-angle gearbox an ideal space-saving drive element.

The BS Series is available with a power range from 0.05 to 7.5 HP, with output speeds of 0.2 to 300 rpm and torque of 220 to 8.850 lbf-in, making them a suitable option for driving machines and equipment of all types.

BS Series motors include stator windings of high quality insulated enameled copper wire, an aluminum die cast cage rotor, and gear wheels made to the highest standard. The state of the art gearbox housing is completely sealed for operational reliability in harsh conditions. The motors are IP65 protected as standard, with optional IP66 protection available.

Since 1927 Danfoss Bauer has been a leading manufacturer of quality gearmotor products. In 1999 they joined forces with Danfoss Drives to develop class-defining power transmission solutions. Danfoss Drives created the VLT name when they introduced the world’s first mass-produced variable frequency drive in 1968, and the name has set the standard for quality variable frequency drives ever since.
