Cincinnati Machine recently hosted Congressman Geoff Davis at its Manufacturing Center of Excellence in Hebron, Kentucky. The purpose of the visit was to provide a manufacturing technology update and global industry overview.

Cincinnati Machine—a pioneer and long time industry leader in machine tool products, technologies, and services—featured a wide variety of standard and specialized machine tools as well as its automated composites processing equipment. The company also displayed a variety of customer parts and applications.

Its sister company, Maintenance Technologies, co-hosted the visit. Maintenance Technologies, an award-winning service and support company serving a wide variety of brands and machine tool platforms, introduced its new global headquarters in Hebron and previewed plans for widely expanding its portfolio of after-market services. In addition, it announced the opening of its three new global parts and service hubs in Germany, China, and Brazil.

As a former manufacturing consultant, Congressman Davis’ experience and background in manufacturing provided a good understanding for the advanced manufacturing discussion and plant tour. “We are honored that Congressman Davis chose to visit Cincinnati Machine,” says Dan Janka, President of Cincinnati Machine. “His actions in Congress have supported a strong U.S. manufacturing base and high-tech jobs for the Northern Kentucky region.”

Cincinnati Machine designs, builds, and integrates advanced manufacturing solutions for the global aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment, energy, and general machining markets. The company’s broad machine tool line includes automated composites processing equipment, profilers, routers, and large horizontal and vertical machining centers, including five-axis multi-tasking and cells. Together with Giddings & Lewis and Cincinnati Automation & Test, Cincinnati Machine comprises Cincinnati Technologies, a unit of MAG Industrial Automation Systems.
