ANCA has appointed Russell Riddiford president of ANCA, Inc., the North American subsidiary of ANCA Pty Ltd, an Australian company headquartered in Melbourne, Victoria, that is a leading global designer and builder of high precision CNC grinding machines and software.
The move was confirmed by the ANCA board in November and is a response to the growth of ANCA operations. Riddiford, based in the ANCA facility in Wixom, Michigan, will be responsible for North and South America sales and operations for the company. He has been an executive with the company since the establishment of the U.S. operations in 1989 (please see company profile in this issue).
ANCA was founded in 1974 to design and manufacture high technology Computer Numerical Controls (CNCs) for the machine tool and metal-based industries. Today, ANCA has become a leading designer and manufacturer of complete, high precision CNC grinding machines in a global niche market with office worldwide, including Australia, Japan, Thailand, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy, and Brazil.
