The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International (FMA), has developed a three-minute online informational video that highlights the association’s mission and member benefits. “In today’s visual world, oftentimes seeing is believing,” says Gerald Shankel, president and CEO of FMA. “This segment provides busy metalworking executives with a quick snapshot of our association and visually depicts some of the advantages that an FMA membership affords.”

The video highlights several FMA membership offerings, including health-care benefits for employees, cooperative buying power for discounted purchases, access to the association’s research assistance center, survey results, on-site training, and educational seminars.

“Whether it’s keeping abreast of metal fabricating industry developments, educating and retaining qualified employees, or finding time to research technical information, FMA’s vast resources will keep you connected with the metal fabricating industry,” Shankel adds.

Based in Rockford, Illinois, the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International is a professional organization with more than 1,800 members working together to improve the metal forming and fabricating industry. Founded in 1970, FMA brings metal fabricators and fabricating equipment manufacturers together through technology councils, educational programs, networking events and the FABTECH International/AWS Welding Show. FMA also has a technology affiliate, the Tube & Pipe Association, International (TPA), which focuses on the unique needs of companies engaged in tube and pipe producing and fabricating.
