Overton Chicago Gear (OCG) recently had the pleasure of meeting their Illinois representative. Congressman Peter Roskam, of the 6th District of Illinois serving Addison and Lombard, visited the facility on April 27, 2011. He is a member of the Ways and Means Committee and known as an advocate of ESOP companies. Roskam was interested in hearing about the strength of the industrial manufacturing sector in his district. OCG shared their continued success in the manufacturing of gears and gearboxes, even with the challenges of foreign competition and challenging economic conditions.
